Welcome, Beauties

Thank you for visiting my blog and welcome to my first Roseglow post!

I first created a blog around 5 years ago, but sadly never managed to keep it up - probably because I hadn't found my passion. Now, at the ripe old age of 28, I am passionate about many things - make-up, beauty, Disney, pink, pretty things and photography to name a few!

Anyway, one thing I am super passionate about is (the prevention of) animal cruelty. I'm a huge animal lover and already do everything I possibly can to save them all! If I could, I'd open an animal sanctuary large enough to fit every endangered animal on the planet! But since that's not really a feasible dream, I decided to move my focus and combine my love for both make-up and animals.... And bam! Roseglow_x was born!!

With the help of research through Cruelty Free Kitty, the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and the Leaping Bunny Program, I managed to gather enough information to help me make informed, ethical decisions when buying make-up, skincare or any other cosmetic. I now buy cosmetics from cruelty-free brands only, and still feel like I have the most beautiful collection!!

In my next post, I'll provide you with the comprehensive list that I have compiled, which breaks down which brands are 100% cruelty-free, which are not, which are owned by parent companies that are not cruelty-free etc... So that you too can have beautiful make-up with a clear conscience! Stay tuned for the next post... 😉

** Disclaimer: I do not judge or claim to be an expert when it comes to animal testing/animal cruelty. I simply do the best I can to ensure I am not supporting or encouraging the harmful treatment of animals in order to feed my vanity. No posts on my blog are intended to impart judgement on anybody or any brand that feels or acts otherwise.... **
